Medina poultry began trading in 1990 from a small abattoir in Bradford supplying the local halal meat butchers and wholesalers with best quality halal chicken.

In 1993 a purpose built slaughterhouse was opened in Halifax from which we supply direct to local butchers, wholesalers, and cutting plants, we strive to deliver the best produced quality product to our customer.

In 2004 a new purpose built lamb slaughter house was opened on the same site to supply the best quality halal sheep & lamb. Now you can get guaranteed halal meat and poultry from one supplier /producer.

Both plants are EEC licensed and operate to the most exacting standards of hygiene and production. We also stock and supply the best quality Irish beef sourced from halal plants in Ireland. In addition we also contract kill sheep, lamb to customers own requirements.
